Todd Rundgren

Healing Live Blu-Ray

Review by Gary Hill

Todd Rungren is one of those musicians who is just so talented and pretty much impossible to put into any kind of box. This new Blu-Ray showcases a cool concert he did in 2010. He and his band perform his entire Healing album track by track. . The music is decidedly proggy and also very mature and cool. That band includes Kasim Sulton and Greg Hawkes. They are also joined by a choir late in the show. The video and audio are both great, and the staging is all class. This includes a great interview as a bonus feature, too. You really can’t go wrong with Rundgren, but this stands tall in his catalog for me.
