Ryan Van Dordrecht Undone Review by Gary Hill This is a collection of solid music. Nothing here is especially unique or unusual, but instead we get a batch of songs that feel like they could have been released in the 1970s. This is the kind of thing that would have been comfortable on the radio in those days. I personally wish this took a few more chances because it just feels like someone playing it safe at just about every step. Don't get me wrong, this isn't at all boring. It actually works well. It's just not all that original. Track by Track Review

All In Your Mind This drives in with a killer mainstream rocking vibe. The horns bring some jazzy things to bear. This is accessible, timeless and very solid.

Will You Be My Girl The organ on this exudes a retro vibe. This makes me think of Tom Petty to a large degree. It's another catchy, mainstream rocking tune. It's also a lot of fun.

Back To Life There is definitely a country rock angle to this one. The combination of male and female vocals here works well.

Human Nature The same musical stew we heard on the first couple songs is present here. This is another accessible, classic sounding slab of sound.

Don’t Hide Your Love I like the intricate acoustic guitar on this song. The track is another with a real classic sound, but this time as more of a soft-rocker or ballad.

Be Your Lover Horn lends an intriguing jazzy quality. The track has some dreamy vibes at play, too. This is another classy and classic sounding piece of music.

Innocence I dig this classy rocker. It's another timeless tune. It has a good energy and groove.

Under The Neon Glow While this isn't a big change, it's somehow more effective. It's one of my favorite tunes here. It's another that makes me think of Tom Petty. I dig the organ on the tune a lot.

Hurts Like Hell Another accessible and effective rock tune, this isn't a big change, but it is solid.

Undone A soulful, mainstream rocker, this is another effective piece of music. It's not any kind of novel revelation, but it works well enough to close the set in style.
