As I mentioned earlier, Judas Priest always gives you your money’s worth so they played a number of other tunes as well.After performing a whole record, they hit us with the old classic “The Ripper”.With all the old material being performed, it would be easy to forget that Rob and the boys are still active in making new music.The next song performed was “Prophecy” from last year’s Nostradamus.It is a great song and fit in nicely with all of the other tunes in the set list.My hope is that they keep it in the set for years to come because it is a classic in the making.“Hell Patrol” was next and I had forgotten how good the Painkiller material was.The set finished off with “Victim Of Changes” and again, Halford (and the rest of the band) sounded fantastic.

Before the band entered the stage for the encore, Halford rode on stage on his trusty Harley.That is one of those things that you know is going to happen but each time it does, it is as if you are seeing it for the first time.It may be a little cheesy but it is all in good heavy metal fun.It wouldn’t be Judas Priest if there wasn’t a motorcycle on stage at some point.Instead of getting the usual “Hell Bent For Leather”, they played “Freewill Burning”.I like both tunes so it was a nice change.They finished off the first encore with “Diamonds And Rust”.They were performing this one acoustically on the Angel Of Retribution tour but they did it full on electric this time.It was great to hear it played again.To conclude the evening, the guys came back out one more time for “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming”.I have seen the mighty Priest at least 10 times and this has to rank as one of the best times.The band played great and the song selection was phenomenal.I have to thank the guys because for 90 minutes, they made me feel young again.
