Clay Fulton & The Lost Forty Positive Numbers Review by Gary Hill This is the kind of music that just seems to fit into the American consciousness. It has plenty of Americana, country, alternative rock and more built into it. It's varied from track to track, but consistently strong. It's mainstream music that seems intended to appeal to a wide swath of listeners. It doesn't break any unexplored ground, but it does what it does quite well. Track by Track Review

Little By Little Alternative rock, pop rock and country sounds all merge on this energetic and catchy tune.

Back To Bruges This is much more hard rocking. It's a meaty tune. The vocals still bring some hints of country, but overall this is much more of a hard-edged alternative rocking number.

Best Years A slower moving tune, this has plenty of retro stylings in the mix, largely from the organ. It has some edgy rocking sound, but also plenty of country edges. It turns more rocking later on in the number.

Positive Numbers For some reason this more melodic piece makes me think of Dave Matthews to some degree. This is a more complex song than most of the rest of the music here. It's also one of the most interesting. Then again, you expect special things from title tracks.

Time Thief A rocking number, this still has a country leaning to it. It's classy and has some good hooks. It's another classy slab of music

Whiskey Brawls Country-edged, but also hard rocking, this is a catchy tune that's quite effective.

For The Road This ballad has plenty of country music in the arrangement. It also has plenty of folk music. It's evocative and effective. I'm not sure this was the best choice for closer, but it is a strong tune.
