This EP features some particularly well-written and performed songs. It lands in the alternative rock zone, but there is a decent range within that overall label here. While this isn't groundbreaking in terms of originality, it's so well done that it doesn't matter. I'm not saying that you'll think you've heard these songs before, but I will say that the genre itself doesn't leave that much room for distinction in terms of inventiveness. It does allow for artists to stand out in terms of consistent quality. This release certainly achieves that.

A harder rocking, more insistent cut, this has some great chops. I dig the guitar soloing quite a bit, too. While this still doesn't touch the magic of that opener, it's a great song. It seems rooted in 90s alternative rock territory.
