Track by Track Review

Better Take Me with You
I love the energetic rockabilly sounds on this track. It’s more country than rock based, but there is definitely some rock in the mix. The duet works well. |
I've Been Called Worse
The vocal arrangement on this track is so cool. This country rocker, which is basically the title track because the lyrics include that phrase is just so much fun. It’s definitely one of the highlights of the set. |
The Art of Being Miserable
There is plenty of energy and sarcastic angst on this song. This is a classy tune that’s fun. |
Pap Song
More old-school country in nature, there are still some modern things in the mix. It makes me think of Dolly Parton to some degree. |
This Is All Your Fault
While this has some country still in the mix (mainly via the vocals) this is closer to classy rock music with a mainstream vibe. |
Maybe Tonight
Energized and catchy, this is another entertaining blend of rock and country music. |
Fight the Fights
There no big changes here. This is just another solid tune. The instrumental break really brings the country music home to roost. |
The Middle
This isn’t quite a ballad, but it is a melodic piece of music. It lands more on the rock side, but probably folk rock, than country. It’s also a nice bit of variety. It’s one of my favorites here. |
What's Mine, What's Yours?
Melodic music that’s also near ballad, but really there, this has some hints of country, but is more soft rock or contemporary pop in nature. |
I'm the Rule
With multiple lines of vocals, this is an acapella track. It’s classy with just finger popping for accompaniment. It definitely brings more variety. |
Make You Love Me
Piano and vocal based, this is more of a ballad. |
Don't Live Patiently
Rock and country merge on this tune. It’s nothing earth shattering, but it is another entertaining piece of music. |
Probably Won't
Bouncy and fun, this is another classy example of the type of music this group does. |
