Danzig
Il Demonio Nera DVD

This collection should be a welcome treat for fans of Danzig's brand of goth/techno/metal. It has 13 videos of six different songs - yes, that means you get several versions of most of the songs. These are all rare or previously unreleased videos and therefore should be quite a nice addition to Danzig fans' collections, but I'm not so sure they will be of nearly as much interest to the more casual Danzig listener. It's not that the videos are bad - in fact, they are all quite well done, it's just that this one really seems to be ready made for the faithful. The videos included here are "Until You Call On the Dark" (MTV Version, Glenn Danzig Performance and Band Performance versions), "Can't Speak" (Clean Version and Filter Pass Version Directed by Fred Stuhr), "I Don't Mind The Pain" (MTV Version, Glenn Danzig Performance and Band Performance Version directed by Dean Karr), "Sadistikal" (B/W Only - unreleased version, B/W and Color Unreleased version directed by Danzig himself), "Sacrifice" (Director's Cut Letterbox directed by Glenn Danzig) and "Serpentia" (Unreleased Reg. and Unreleased Alternate Version). The DVD doesn't include any bonus features, but does a nice job of showcasing the dark vision of this talented man.
