Commander Cody

Rockpalast: Blues Rock Legends, Vol. 1 DVD

Review by Gary Hill

I really like this DVD a lot. Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen perform an intriguing blend of blues, rock, jazz and R & B that at times shifts near to Frank Zappa. This concert is an awesome one and it’s captured in all its glory in this DVD. I’d say that all fans of Cody should pick this up. If you’ve never really heard him and want a good introduction, this is also recommended. In fact, I don’t care who you are – get it. This is good fun.
