The Dubliners

On the Road – Live In Germany DVD

Review by Gary Hill

If you are a big fan of traditional Celtic music, you must have heard The Dubliners. Formed in 1962, the group has been playing their brand of the genre for 45, going on 50 years. It’s a sure bet that with that amount of experience these guys are amongst the best in the field. This DVD, follows them on tour and combines behind the scenes interviews and footage with live performances to give fans a glimpse deep inside the workings of The Dubliners. It’s a must have for their fans, but probably for anyone who really follows traditional Irish music. Grab yourself a Guiness and kick back and enjoy.
