Frank Palangi

I’m Waiting (Single)

Review by Gary Hill

This is just one song, so we’ll cut out the overall review here, except to say that Frank Palangi is an artist from New York state and this track will be part of an EP to be released in 2011.

This review is available in book format (hardcover and paperback) in Music Street Journal: 2010  Volume 6 at lulu.com/strangesound.

I’m Waiting

The song shows a high level of musical maturity and complexity, while still living in the territory of more modern hard rock. The opening segment has hints of progressive rock and overall, I’d think of this like a more prog rock oriented version of Godsmack. It’s a real stomper and shows a lot of potential for greatness in the upcoming EP. I’d say to expect great things from Palangi.
