Jane’s Addiction

Live Voodoo DVD

Review by Gary Hill

Jane’s Addiction always had an incredibly tasty and unique sound. I liked them from their first album. I’ve wanted to get them into MSJ for a longtime and this DVD is a great way to do it. Their brand of hard rock was one of a kind.

This was a reunion show of the classic lineup and it was very much magic. The video and audio are both great, too. These guys just plain rocked and it’s great that this is available for fans to watch. I can’t recommend this enough to hardcore Jane’s Addiction fans or those who are just more casual observers. It would also serve as an excellent introduction to the wonder that was Jane’s Addiction.
